Prescription sunglasses are sunglasses with your own corrective prescription built into the lenses. We can do it in all our frames. We also sell polarized sunglasses and photochromic glasses.

Do you sell photochromic glasses?

Yes we do!
Photochromic glasses are glasses with lenses that are clear indoors and darken automatically when exposed to sunlight. Photochromic glasses are also called “light-responsive” or “light-adaptive” glasses. We can do it in all our frames.

Do you sell blue block glasses?

Yes we do!
Blue block glasses protect your eyes from harmful blue light emitted from digital devices, as well as from artificial fluorescent and LED light sources. If you look at computer and phone screens all day, blue light blocking glasses can prevent the symptoms of digital eye strain. You can buy our blue block lenses on all prescription and non-prescription glasses.

Do I need a prescription to buy glasses from Shaub & Fischer?

For all our prescription glasses the answer is: yes.
When you order your glasses from us, you are acknowledging that you have a written prescription for your glasses that has been given to you by a suitably qualified person in the last 2 years (or 1 year if you are 70 years old or older). Also, you need to be 18 years old to place an order.

What is my pupillary distance (PD) and how do I get it?

Your pupillary distance (PD) is the measurement of the distance between your pupils. The PD is needed to manufacture your prescription glasses because it determines the optical center of the lens, which is the point where you look through the lens.
Your PD should be listed on your prescription. If it isn't, you can find out how to measure it here.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards, including Visa, MasterCard and American Express as well as PayPal.
